She loves to share her sense of humour and bubbly personality with everyone she meets. Simone currently works as an Announcer at Virgin Radio Vancouver, and Presenter on CBC Television.

Simone is also actively involved in the community and spends time working with various charitable organizations including the Canadian Cancer Society.

She's hosted and produced various local and national programs in Television.  

Stations she’s worked for include OMNI Television, JOY TV, Shaw TV, The Weather Network and City TV and also hosted a morning show on RJ1200am. 

Simone has also done some work in the film industry. She was a part of Classholes a sketch comedy troupe that performed all over Metro Vancouver as well as in Los Angeles. Simone has also had the opportunity to be featured in various commercials and work in Indian Cinema.  

Having lived in the lower mainland her whole life, Simone likes to escape from here every now and then.  She is an avid traveler, having traveled throughout Canada, UK, U.S., Caribbean  and Europe. Simone also enjoys spending time with her family and friends and staying in when it’s cold and rainy! 

 

Getting Real Personal: 

 1. Yes i have actually been a part of a real Bollywood dance sequence filmed at the Yash Raj Film Studios in Mumbai India (have yet to run through a field of flowers) 

2. Have performed stand up and sketch comedy on stage in Downtown Los Angeles, 2 days after a major car accident (yes i limped on stage but worth every minute) 

3. I've had the honour and pleasure to sample the finest cheese, wine and meals with the wealthiest families in France while staying at their Chateaus while filming Winecents TV in France. This includes having lunch with Mr. Andre Lurton and hanging with the Bourgeois Boys in Sancerre. Also spend a night at the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy Castle and tried their $1000.00 bottle of vino.

4. Was married on 7-7-7 to my BCIT sweetheart and chose Aruba as a honeymoon destination after Rachel on Friends didn't go with Barry there on hers (she missed out - it was amazing, but in real life she was married to Brad Pitt, so guess i may have missed out - sorry honey) 

5. Have travelled the world. That is where all my money goes.  Have been to Western Europe 4 times and India 7 (my two fav destinations) Other places i have been include Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea, Singapore and various places in North America and the Caribbean.

6. Have interviewed Bollywood Screen Legend Amitabh Bachchan twice (once as a 68 year old man, the other time as 13 year old Auro from the movie Paa) have also chatted with Aishwarya Rai - who made me feel supershort, spoke to Akshay Kumar, chilled with Deepa Mehta went Old Skool with Heera and kicked it with Apna Sangeet.  Have also interviewed Down With Webster, These Kids Wear Crowns, Faber Drive,  and Sweet Thing on the music side of my world.  

7. Am always happy! I choose to be very positive and can't stand negative debbie the downer type people.  I get along with everyone - except Debbie like previously mentioned and always love to make people laugh- even if at my expense! 

8. Singing has always been a dream of mine and i took part in Media Idol a few years back. Sang These Boots Are Made For Walking....Canadian Idol judges told me to keep my day job!

9. Love Snakes. (held the same albino python as Britney Spears did at the 2001 MTV Awards)

10.  Have touched the Stanley Cup! Go Canucks Go
